Wisely Spent operates on the principle of intentional utility—not data monetization[cite: 1]. We believe in absolute transparency about what we collect, why we collect it, and how you retain total control over your information.
1. Information We Collect
When using The Earn Lens, we only collect what is strictly necessary to run your account and calculate your time conversions:
- Account Email: Used exclusively for authentication, account management, and critical service updates.
- User-Entered Financial Data: The hourly wages, income figures, and purchase values you type into the app.
2. No Bank Connections or Automatic Syncing
The Earn Lens relies entirely on manual entry. We do not integrate with Plaid, banks, credit card providers, or third-party financial aggregators. You are in total control of what numbers you choose to type, and we never have access to your bank accounts or payment credentials.

3. Account & Data Deletion
You have the absolute right to wipe your data at any time. You can delete your account directly through either of the following methods:
- In-App: Navigate to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This immediately and permanently deletes your account record and all manual entries from our database.
- Via Web / Email Request: Send an email from your registered account to privacy@thewiselyspent.com with the subject line "Account Deletion", and we will process the request within 48 hours.
4. Third-Party Tracking & Analytics
We do not use advertising trackers, sell user data to brokers, or run third-party behavioral analytics tools within The Earn Lens app. Your focus belongs on your choices—not on being monitored.
